Steve Gross a câștigat Pot-Limit Omaha / Six Handed Event #41 revendicându-și prima sa brățară de aur WSOP și premiul pentru locul I în valoare de 488.817$, după ce a reușit să învingă un număr de 400 de jucători. Steve, care este cunoscut pentru succesele sale online, a început să aibă rezultate și la jocurile live, dar această victorie îl trimite în elita de jucători  de Pot Limit Omaha.

Gross a intrat în ziua a treia de concurs ca lider la număr de jetoane. Cei 22 de jucători au ajuns repede 11, în doar patru ore de joc,  iar Roland Israelashvili, Sorel Mizzi și Trevor Pope s-au numărat printre cei eliminați. Jucătorii au continuat să cadă unul câte unul și după pauza de prânz Timoshenco a ieșit pe locul 7 lasându-i pe ultimii 6 jucătorisă se întreacă la masa finală.

Primul jucător eliminat de la masa finală a fost Arfai – locul 6, urmat de Lee Goldman pe 5 și Joseph Leung pe 4. Salman Behbehani și-a revenit și deși avea cel mai mic stack a devenit pentru un timp lider la chipuri. Apoi  Steve l-a eliminat pe Pfutzenreuter și a obținut conducerea. În lupta de heads up battle, după 40 de mâini, Salman care era din nou short stacked, a pierdut când a jucat all in și a obținut locul doi, lasându-i victoria lui Gross.

Steve Gross won Pot-Limit Omaha / Six Handed Event #41 and claimed his first WSOP gold bracelet and the $488,817 first place prize after outlasting a field of 400 players. Steve, who was known for his online success, started having success in live poker also, but that last victory sent him to the elite of Pot Limit Omaha players.

Gross entered the third and final day of the event as the chip leader. 22 players quickly became 11 in the first hours of play and Roland Israelashvili, Sorel Mizzi and Trevor Pope where some of the players that fell. Players continued to drop one by one and after lunch break Timoshenco left in 7th place and let the remaining 6 players battle in the final table.

Arfai in 6th place was the first player to be eliminated in the final table followed by Lee Goldman in 5th and Joseph Leung in 4th place. Salman Behbehani came back and from short stack gained the lead for a while. Then Steve knocked out Pfutzenreuter and got the lead himself. In heads up battle after 40 hands, Salman who was short stacked again, lost when he went all in and got the second place, leaving Gross with the victory.
